Common questions
Why does blokr ask for Screen Time permission?
To block apps automatically, blokr needs permission to manage app limits through Apple's Screen Time framework. Your screen data never leaves your phone and is protected by Apple; blokr cannot see what you do inside other apps.
How do I end a block early?
It depends on the block type. Schedules and limits end the way you chose when you set them up: wait for the timer, unlock manually, scan your QR code or NFC tag, or open an approved app first. Deep focus sessions cannot be ended early by design.
What is an emergency unblock?
A small weekly allowance of unblocks for genuine emergencies, available under Settings in blokr. Once it is used up for the week, every block runs to the end.
A block is not working. What should I check?
Open Settings › Screen Time on your iPhone and make sure blokr still has Screen Time access. Reinstalling blokr or restoring from a backup resets this permission, so set it up again inside the app.
How do I restore a Pro purchase on a new device?
Open Settings in blokr and tap Restore. Pro is tied to your Apple Account, not to a device, so you do not pay twice.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Open the iPhone Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, choose blokr and cancel. You keep Pro until the end of the paid period.
How do I delete my data?
Deleting the app removes all blocks and settings from your device. To have any account-level data removed as well, email us from the address below and we will confirm once it is done.
