Privacy Policy
Last updated 2026-10-09
This policy explains what data the blokr app and this website handle, why, and what your choices are. The short version: the Screen Time data that makes blokr work never leaves your device, and we do not sell personal data.
Who is responsible
[confirm] Controller name, legal form and postal address. Contact: see the support page.
Screen Time data stays on your device
blokr blocks and limits apps through Apple's Screen Time framework (Family Controls and Device Activity). Apple processes which apps you use and for how long on the device itself. blokr receives permission to apply limits, but the app cannot read your app usage, and this data is never transmitted to us or to anyone else. Usage reports shown inside blokr are rendered by Apple's framework on your device.
Data we collect in the app
- Usage analytics. Which features you use, when blocks are created or ended, device model, iOS version, app version, language and a random installation identifier. Processed by [confirm: Amplitude, Mixpanel and/or Firebase]. Purpose: understanding how the app is used and fixing bugs. Legal basis: [confirm: consent or legitimate interest].
- Crash and performance data. Processed by [confirm: Firebase Crashlytics]. Purpose: stability.
- Purchases. Payments are handled by Apple. We never see your card details. Subscription status is checked through RevenueCat using an anonymous app user identifier so Pro works across your devices.
- Support messages. If you contact us through the in-app chat (Crisp) or by email, we keep the conversation to answer you.
- Advertising measurement. [confirm] We use Google Ads conversion measurement to learn whether an install came from an ad. On iOS this uses Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt where required; if you decline, no cross-app tracking takes place.
Data we collect on this website
[confirm] This website uses a cookieless analytics service that stores no personal data and sets no cookies. Links to the App Store may carry a campaign identifier so we know which guide led to an install; this identifier contains no personal data.
Sharing
We share data only with the service providers named above, under contracts that restrict them to processing on our behalf. We do not sell personal data. [confirm] Some providers process data in the United States under [confirm: Standard Contractual Clauses / EU-US Data Privacy Framework].
Retention
[confirm] Analytics data is retained for X months. Support conversations are retained for X months after the last message. Purchase records are retained as long as required by tax and accounting law.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, and object to processing based on legitimate interest. You can withdraw consent at any time. Email us via the support page. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
blokr is not directed at children under [confirm: 13 / 16]. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and note the date above.
